Everybody knows that life as we know it requires Water. But only recently, after joining WholeHealth, the importance of Open Water to my mind and soul became clear.
Many cultures associate Open Water with motherly deities. Now I understand why: despite society's past errors, "she" welcomes people of every ability, class, colour, shape and size, healing us inside-out. In "her arms", we are children again, and as good kids, we offer her our respect.
I am delighted I found a place that honours Water's essence, encouraging us to bring our authentic selves to the Lake, always.
