We’ve been working on something big, and it’s been hard to keep it a secret.
Finally, we’re proud to announce the launch of our latest range of inclusive swim caps – and a new partnership with an iconic brand we grew up with.
The new adidas x SOUL CAP range is now live!
Here’s everything you need to know:
Coming Together
Just like us, adidas is known for bridging the gap between style and sport.
We also share the mission of creating better access for people to do what they love. They’re supporting Black-owned businesses in the sportswear industry through their Cornerstone Initiative and through their adidas Legacy programme and coaching and sports scholarships for under-represented communities in high schools.
So, when they reached out to us to collaborate, we knew we’d create something special.
This new collaboration between SOUL CAP and adidas is about bringing our legacy design and an important cause to even more swimmers than before. It’s about raising the bar on a global scale – with (what we think) is our most collectable cap yet.
What’s new with the cap?
Our new adidas x SOUL CAP is a collaborative design, with an exclusive partnership logo. Inspired by nature’s palette, the original linen green colourway was specially selected to reflect the sense of clarity and connectedness the water brings us.
It’s available in all the same inclusive sizes designed for every natural hair type – from thin and short to long and thick, with the space to support braids, locs, and afro hair.
And it’s still the same built-to-last, skin-friendly cap made from 100% premium silicone – with absolutely no toxins or latex.
It’s currently available as the Adult adidas x SOUL CAP (R, M, L, XL, and XXL) or the Junior adidas x SOUL CAP for children (R, M and L).
What does this mean for SOUL CAP?
We’ve partnered with adidas to elevate our message for swim inclusion, but that doesn’t mean anything is changing with us.
We’re still the same independent brand that was founded on serving the swim community. We’re still focused on making moves that improve access to swimming for anyone who wants to get involved.
And we’ll still be out there campaigning towards diversity in the sport – no matter who we’re partnered with, or who we partner with next.
This latest new range of swim caps is a chance to bring our message to the widest possible audience. It’s a chance to advocate for swimmers that aren’t represented enough – on a much larger scale, and in a much shorter time.
But it’s also a chance for the swim community to get involved and show their stripes with pride – by wearing a swim cap that promotes unity in the sport we love.
We can’t wait to see our latest swim caps become a part of your collection in the SOUL CAP community – and we hope you’re as excited as we are.
