Our DURACK range is inspired by Australian swimmer Sarah Frances Durack, who defied an Australian ban on women swimmers and became the first Australian female Olympic Champion, setting a new world record for the 100m freestyle.


Over the next few years, she continued to campaign for women’s rights in swimming while breaking twelve more world records – and she was eventually made a life member of the same swimming association that had previously banned her.


After retiring from competitive swimming, she devoted herself to coaching young children, making sure that everyone was able to compete – no matter what their gender.
