My wife has taken her first swim lesson and had put it off for a long time as she was not prepared to get her braided hair completely wet and other caps uncomfortable.

I absolutely LOVE my Soul Caps!! I’ve bought several to match my swim suits. I have dred locks and have had natural hair since I was a teenager in the 1980s. This cap is great! I have locs that come to my neck. This swim cap fits great and has more than enough room for all my hair. I’ve only had it on for aqua aerobics but when I took it off my hair was dry so I’m pretty confident that when I do some actual swimming my hair will remain dry.

So I got knotless braids and I was going to Florida and was going to be swimming in a pool and ocean water so I got 2 sizes not knowing witch one was going to fit I used the large it’s bigger than you think! The xl is for like huge thick dreads or wicks the pictures it referred to in my opinion are not accurate I think the large will hold faux locks, box braids, goodness braids, it holds a lot Im just saying I have super thick natural hair with knotless braids and the zoom was way too big

The cap does a good job holding long thick hair and keeps the hair from getting completely soaked. There is some dampness but nothing a rinse and conditioner can't solve. Also the fit is great. Not too tight which I love. I have bought several pairs!

It’s absolutely amazing. I have knotless braid’s quite often in the year so I bought XXL as well as L and it fits over my hair perfectly (in a bun). It barely gets wet in the water, if anything the most wet it gets is just the baby hairs on my hairline and the back of my head. I highly recommend this if you have locs or braids, especially if you wear them often and swim often!

The swim cap is wonderful. I am an Indigenous woman with very thick hair past my waist, my swimming buddies were shocked that I was able to find cap that would fit all my hair. I was disappointed in the ear plugs though, I tried both sized and they both fall out. Terrible design. :(

This is absolutely the best swimming cap I have ever had and perfect for longer hair My first purchase was in 2018 and was used regularly. Towards the end of 2022 I lost it which was the only reason I had to buy another cap, and a spare. Whilst I waited for it to be delivered I used another branded cap which was next to useless.

If you are hesitating I would say go for it! I was a little worried it would be too big as my hair is average thickness and a few inches past my shoulders. But it’s so much more comfortable than the speedo long hair cap I was using. Wouldn’t buy anything else now!

I am able to wear a smaller cap underneath and this all adds to preventing my hair getting wet, whilst I swim and emerse my head in the water. My hair does not get wet even when doing backstrokes. The Soul cap is also very comfortable. Love it...
